Ran Skype and the video camera worked just fine, after playing with the settings a bit for color & lighting.So, Yes, the Microsoft LifeCam VX-3000 does work with the latest version of Macam 0.9.1. Its as if someone keeps turning the saturation up and down all the time.I have adjusted brightness, contrast, saturation and gamma settings in macam but it has no effect on the flickering colour.Also I notice that the sliders which control hue, sharpness, gain and shutter are disabled in the macam settings pane.
